TarPipe – Mashups for the masses
Creating complex mashups was usually reserved for developers until the arrival of Yahoo Pipes.
Recently I came upon Posterous which allows some sort of a broadcast of your posts starting from a simple email. Very efficient.
Here is a new one called TarPipe, here is a cool example proposing a workflow including Evernote & Twitter.

MS Photo tourism – Finding Paths through the World’s Photos
The core technology was already demonstrated in TED.COM but here is the productization result.
Still quite amazing but looks less smooth than the previous demo maybe due to the limitations of the underlying machine? Intentional?
It is not so foten I see MS products that really excite me but this is one of them.
